Media installations for the new Raiffeisen office tower in Vienna’s central district. The media sculpture “Energiehaushalt” (Energy Management) is a column, four metres high and half a metre wide, displaying the office building’s daily energy production and consumption processes. Entries are continuously supplied by the building’s smart-metering system. Energy losses and yields are displayed in real time, generating an aesthetically and rendered abstract image composed of lines and colour fields – a kind of modern painting. A second media station allows visitors to browse the buildings specifications, building history or energy values.

SFA was part of the team creating the media concept for the building. Visualisations as well as presentation of the media station during concept phase. Further more, development of the overall visual style for the stations and the detail concept + UI for the visitor Station.
